My Story

At 280 Custom Auto Accessories, we bring a wealth of experience and a passion for precision to every project. Our founder's journey began at a young age, with four years of high school training in paint and body work, learning the craft of detailing, cutting, and buffing vehicles. This foundation in the automotive world grew over time, and for the past 15+ years, our founder has been hands-on in mechanical work, honing skills across a wide range of automotive fields.

Before starting the business, our founder worked at Penske as a Tech 1 Diesel Mechanic, earning ASE Certifications and building a strong mechanical background. With years of real-world experience and a deep love for the industry, turning a childhood hobby into a business was the natural next step. Today, we specialize in 12V work for vehicles and recreational toys, offering expertise in vehicle sound systems, custom installations, and mechanical solutions.

With over 15+ years of hands-on experience in the 12V field, we specialize in vehicles and recreational toys. Our founder’s journey began as a young boy, working alongside his father in a shop in Clanton, AL. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion, transforming a childhood hobby into a thriving business built on dedication, skill, and the pursuit of excellence.

We are proud to be one of the top locations for SQ (Sound Quality) base vehicles, and we've built world-record-holding SPL (Sound Pressure Level) vehicles. Every project we take on is treated with the utmost care and precision, transforming each vehicle into a true work of art.
